Ginger Iced Tea-Nepali-Style

Admittedly, I’m a huge fan of tea drinking. I’m not sure if it’s my Irish/English roots or the fact that I grew up in a tea drinking household (I don’t think my parents even owned a coffee pot) but I love all types of green, black and herbal teas. This past weekend, my sister-in-law, Amanda, shared what has become (in one week) my new favorite go-to summer beverage, Ginger iced tea-Nepali-Style. Amanda and her husband, Mark, spent a year working and traveling in Nepal (the gorgeous travel pictures from Nepal below are some she took while living there).Nepal FlagsAmanda mentioned that she really enjoyed the ginger cinnamon iced tea that was served in Nepal and shared the simple recipe with me during her visit with us, which inspired this post.[gallery size="medium" ids="3021,3020,3019"]Refreshing, with a citrus-kick and spicy bite, this beverage is the perfect way to cool down on a hot and humid day.
